Directory of Major Brands & Retailers Selling on Facebook
9Here’s an evolving directory of major brands and retailers selling on Facebook curated from Social Commerce Today, our f-commerce FAQ, Steve Hall’s Facebook Store Finder and a recent post by Jake Hird over at eConsultancy.
Please submit any others you know of – particularly consumer brands, and we’ll update the list….
What’s interesting to note is that two different f-commerce strategies appear to be emerging – one for retailers (typically already with an e-commerce presence) and the other for brands (that typically sell through retailers and not direct) .
- Retailer Strategy: Replicate full e-commerce store in Facebook
- Brand Strategy: Offer brand fans get-it-first exclusives and fan merchandise
If you’re a reader of SCT, you’ll know which strategy we think has the brightest future – hint - offering friends, fans, and followers a privileged and personal point of purchase for those who connect with them on Facebook adds a new dimension to e-commerce…

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the name check, Paul.
I’d also add another one onto the (epic) list that I was given a heads up about today – Lyle & Scott (www.facebook.com/lyleandscott). It’s pretty slick, especially as shopping/payment can be made directly without leaving their page.
Finally, great idea to create a category directory and good call the emerging strategy split!
Cheers
- J
Thanks Jake, and congrats on your list on econsultancy, it’s seems to have been really popular. I’m thinking of setting up a parallel listings/directory site just for Facebook stores that allow transactions to be completed within Facebook (not storefronts, all retailers seem to be adding these)… In the meantime, ‘ll update this one with Lyle and Scott…
This is a great resource. We are launching a full end-to-end store for a major celebrity next week. This will include end-to-end commerce, a deal of the day, social commentary, and an affiliate revenue model where the celeb gets a commission on sales of products listed in their shop tab. More to come next week when it launches, I will include you on the press list.
