The whole &quot;storytelling&quot; thing frustrates me too - it is such a misused buzzword that seems to cover every instance of &#039;we&#039;re going to do something that doesn&#039;t make sense here, but if we call it &#039;storytelling&#039; then it&#039;s okay.&quot;

Brands definitely have to take the next step now and start converting those social media fans into more active customers. They just need to give them a reason to do so: people won&#039;t start buying more just because they saw a funny video on your Facebook page.

Oh, and thanks for the shout-out on &quot;Your Brand Is Not My Friend&quot; - much appreciated.</description>
